Our Body and the Body of the World
Marianne Bentzen (DK)
The ways that we live sicken us, and specific life events may have wounded us deeply as well. The body has no words but even without them it can guide us to that which helps us heal.
Our bodies are eminent at self-healing when given time and support to do so. The most healing factors to trauma, and even to health in general, are to recognize the silent inner language of the body – and to have loving relationships. Opening to intimacy with another human being is also to open to the body of the world; to this vast field of caring that sustains us every day.
